GIO-LITE test result

The brightness(RA or CPL, in cd/lux/m2) of the retroreflection is determined by the experience conditions like below.

ASTM E809 and E810 (RA) CIE 54: 1982 (R')
ASTM E809 and E810 (RA) CIE 54: 1982 (R')

RA is determined by the designated entrance angle, observation angle and the average value measured in
90' if certain conditions are not provided.

TEST COMPLYING WITH EN471
EN 471 & ANSI Performance

GIO-LITE Reflective Materials - #9904H Reflective Fabric & #9905H Reflective Heat Transfer Film - are certified to the European Standard EN 471 & ANSI.
The initial photometric performance meets or exceeds the requirements in EN 471 & ANSI. The products are certified for 50 washings at 60 °C. Materials subjected to the exposure tests listed below will maintain a minimum RA of 100 cd/lux/m2 at -4° entrance angle and 0.2° observation angle unless stated otherwise.

Performance

While use of GIO-LITE Reflective Material enhances visibility, no reflective material can guarantee absoulte visibility, particularly in adverse weather conditions. Performance will vary depending upon actual use, exposure condition and maintenance. Users should test reflective material to satisfy conformance to their own requirements.
